Review title of THE 1st SAVIORIntriging. Scary. But has its flaws.

It is rare that a game can grab my attention the way this one has. It usually takes a deep story, strong voice acting and solid gameplay. Emily Wants to Play is missing the first two and it does not matter. The game is all about survival. I did jump quite a bit. The scares were successful. Sometimes the anticipation of something happening was enough to keep me from even blinking. Of course in fear of being greeted by one of the house's inhabitants. My favorite aspect was figuring out what I had to do to survive until the next hour. This element was appreciated. Where the game fell a bit short was AI difficulty and load times. The game can be unforgiving at times when it starts to stack different rules. This is where load times come in. You can fail in seconds and have to wait close to 1 min for it to load. Rinse and repeat. It in no way hurt the experience too bad. But it can feel like a lot of waiting. For $5 this game is a steal. I recommend this game to anyone.
